Voice Description

I speak English with a British accent but havign lived in the US for many years I am very familiar with American pronunciation. I 'draw in' the listener and read with a natural style. I learnt French, Swahili, Afrikaans and Turkish several years ago but will only read if translations, along with the English, is provided.

My Voice Experience

I have enjoyed much experience with narration; reading aloud to children and recording for the blind, but only lately took a Voice Over Master class to prepare to do this commercially.

Ex- nurse, admin assistant and now independant consultant. Voice- Over Master Class with the folks at 'Such A Voice' in 2005. Amateur drama class 2007 to learn role playing.

Additional Skills

As an ex nurse, I am familiar with medical terminology. I am somewhat familiar with scientific & technical terminology, having recorded text books for distribution to the blind and dyslexic. I have travelled extensively and learned several languages but can read in Afrikaans, Swahili and Turkish, if English as well as the translation is provided.
