I have a very clear, smooth & professional narration and spokesperson voice as well as the ability to do a wide variety of character voices and impersonations. My impersonations have been regularly featured on The Tonight Show, The Frank Caliendo Show and in feature films and live performances. I have written and performed sketch comedy characters for over 20 years. I have hosted numerous TV shows and co-hosted a live radio show. My radio demo is in the market for syndication through United Stations. I am also one of the lead voices of a prime time animated show scheduled for air this December on Fox TV.

My Voice Experience

My experience in voiceover comes from a diverse background in live theatre, television, film and radio.

My first love is comedic acting. After earning a degree in broadcast journalism and theatre I skewered the news as head writer, performer and producer of Washington, DC’s top satirists, Gross National Product (GNP.) With GNP I also co-created several PBS comedy specials and the famously funny “Scandal Tours,” an irreverent romp past DC’s infamous scandal sites. When Hollywood beckoned she honed her improv and sketch comedy chops with LA’s famous Groundlings. ALong the way many voices were born!
I love to make good impressions and did regularly on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” with hilarious portrayals of “Martha Stewart,” “Hillary Clinton” & “Sarah Palin.” My “Martha” stole the show in comedian Craig Shoemaker's pot-umentary “Totally Baked” & was featured in the Wayans Brothers’ film, “Snowflake.” Her “Hillary” had a cackling good time on “The Frank Caliendo Show.”
Some TV credits also include HBO’s “Big Love” and Fox’s “Malcolm in the Middle.” I've hosted many talk, style, and game shows such as “Landscaper’s Challenge” (HGTV), “Live! with Regis” (ABC), “Before and AfterNoon Movie” (USA), and “When Did That Happen?” (GSN) as well as pilots for Fox, Lifetime, VH-1 and PBS. I recently co-hosted GSN Radio with my husband, Bob Goen. (She credits driving separately to work for its success.)
I also write and perform live theatre and spoken word venues. My three woman tour-de-farce, “The Hungry and Horny Show,” played to sell out crowds at LA’s Lyric Theatre. I also have a multi-character solo show, “Little Miss Behaving.”

My Training

I have a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland and minor in theatre from DC's Catholic University. I also have theatre training from NY's Circle in the Square school and from LA's famous comedy troupe, The Groundlings. In addition I have taken courses in voiceover technique and character development here in LA. Please see my voice experience description above!

I do not currently have equipment in my home but since I am in LA have many options and access to engineers, studios, etc.

I am an experienced, terrific and FUNNY writer!! I can write, edit or punch up your scripts and voice them! I have written TV, theatrical and radio scripts for over 20 years for myself and for clients. I have also written countless promos & brochures for my own comedy business.
