My voice can be used in a plethora of ways. My main projects are speeches, advertising, business training, presentations etc. ON these projects I use a very British formal voice that is clear and coherent.
I also branch into Estuary English, using a rough colloquial tone - I.E. Cockney, Northern Accents and South London accents.

My Voice Experience

Hi, My name is Maria Garcia and I'm new on the Voice-Over Artist scene. I'm 17 years old and live in London. I have always used my voice as a tool to aid me in school. I have completed a Public Training Speaking Course which has helped me improve controlling anf Manipulating my voice. What came naturally to me is speaking in a very British accent. I used my voice to take part in many presentations and promotional DVDs at my school in Wimbledon. I hav had a passion for working with my voice for 2 - 3 years now and believe I might have the new fresh voice that you might be looking for. Thanks, Maria.

My Training

Traning and Education includes Many Theatre Productions in school as well as Drama and Theatre Studies GCSE Qualitifcation and AS Level. I also have done the Jack Petchey 'Speak Out' challenge. I am also taking Media Studies as an A level and aim to have work experience in a voice over company this summer 2009.

My Studio Equipment

I would use Chapel Recording studios in Wimbledon Park, which has recorded with the likes of Britney Spears, Sting, Coldplay and Kylie Minogue.
If this is Unavailable - I will use studio equipment in the Media Department of my College.

Additional Skills

I also have interests in Film Producing and am also creating a portfolio of work for University. I also have a 'Passion for Fashion' and Make - up and am applying for a short make - up course in london to do over the summer. My main interest is Voice - over acting so I incorporate my skills into every area of work I do.
