My Voice Experience

I've had two radio stints to date on Y108, a local station where I was featured on the morning drive show, I've spent a weekend in broadcasting school, recorded one commercial which went brilliantly. I was a backup vocalist for a local band called Out Alive and can be heard almost every day on any emergency services scanner dispatching 911 calls to ambulances across Hamilton and the GHA as I so fondly call it. I am professionally certified in radio communications and hold the position of an ACO and if you've ever dialed 911 in Hamilton or the surrounding area you may have been subjected to my dulcet tones..

My Training

I took performing arts in high school and college, enrolled in the Eleanor Fulcher Talent School/Agency for acting classes. I spent a weekend in Broadcasting school at Mohawk College and recorded several commercials with Mike McCurley Studios here in Hamilton. I've applied to CNIB to record audio books in Toronto and currently hold a position for three years now with emergency services as an ACO and can be heard on the radio every shift I'm in for a minimum of eight hours dispatching emergency resources all across Hamilton and the GHA..

Additional Skills

I am an ACO with emergency services, specifically a communications officer and have the opportunity every day to engage in communication in high stress situations with an extremely diverse population. I maintain a high level of professionalism when required but would describe myself as witty, vivacious with a natural flair for drama and brilliant comedic timing. My distinctive speaking voice is easily recognized and I'm raring to utilize it! I'm congenial and attentive and interested in doing the best job possible for you, I'm obviously new to the field but give me a try and I promise I'll make it worth your while!
