My Voice Experience

Maren grew up on a 20 acre goat farm with her family in Kings Valley, OR. Her upbringing was very creative as both her parents were artists. Her father was a roadie for Jefferson Starship, and musician; her mother was a seamstress specializing in leather and patchwork. Some of her work was displayed in the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art and modeled by Priscilla Presley. During Maren's childhood, she found there was always something new to discover, another game to invent, a different skill to learn. Besides a real sense of play, her parents also instilled the importance of what it is to be a good person; they helped her to become a stronger, powerful, challenging person.

As an , voice-over actor, film actor and filmmaker, Maren lives by this ideology. When approaching characters she refrains from judgement and learns what really makes them tick, all the while maintaining the sense of play.

Currently she is working on her career as a film and voice-over actor in Portland, OR. Acting is her passion. It's the one thing she feels she couldn't live without. She really loves it.
