Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

originally from Minnesota, so yes, i can do that "Fargo accent",I have a pretty good ear and pick up dialects easily, I have impersonated Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday Mr President" for several birthday phone greetings, I do a swell Locust-Valley lockjaw (waspy) characterization.

My Voice Experience

Getting back into the business after 10 years. In the past, I made several hundred informational VO's for Northern States Power Co. in Minneapolis for their consumer helpline.

My Training

recently worked with voice over coach Peter DeMeo, I've been an actor for more than 25 years and am also a singer.

My Studio Equipment

no present studio but am working on setting up a system in my home.

Additional Skills

I'm really easy to work with,and take direction well along with an ability to bring ideas to the table (when asked)and a willingness to try anything-at least once--!!
I have a great work ethic and want to to the best job possible in the least stressful manner possible. I listen well and incorporate notes quickly, so as not to waste studio time and $$. I know my re-emergence into the industry doesn't show much current work--but a gal's gotta start (again) somewhere! Try me! You won't be disappointed!
