My Voice Experience
From her earliest school days, Marcia was a ham -- taking the lead in school plays from kindergarten through high school. Marriage, family, and career in New York did not deter Marcia from remaining active in theatre. Her acting range runs the gamut from serious drama to musical comedy, playing many roles as diverse as the tortured May in Sam Shephard's Fool for Love, to the tragicomic role of M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, to the tap dancing Sister Robert Ann in the musical comedy Nunsense. She is also a seasoned public speaker and presenter.
My Training
Marcias early voice training culminated in a Bachelor of Arts degree from the esteemed Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin. Her training continued in New York as an instructor, lecturer, and presenter in many venues. Marcia received specific training in voice over techniques through a Master Class from Dan Levine of Such a Voice.
