Voice Description

I have a classically trained voice. I have been involved in Community, State and Regional theatre since beginning in High School. I also began my voice training (singing) in my 3rd year of High School and continue singing to this day. My singing range is that of a Tenor and I am capable of singing Classical Operetta, Broadway and Top 40 Tunes. This has trained me to use my voice in a variety of sounds, moods and emotions. I am capable of singing in Italian, Spanish, German, French, and Latin.

Being a member of several Operetta Troupes here in New Jersey I have also have done public speaking and narrations for theatrical productions. I have done presentation narrations for Peter and the Wolf, Hansel and Gretel and have narrated several theatrical productions.

I have done many different roles that have required me to use "accents" along with my characters on stage i.e. Dracula, Tevye from Fiddler On The Roof, a smooth lyric voice for the Minstrel in Man of LaMancha, and a dark sounding voice for "Faust".

Additional Skills

Since I am entering this field as a "beginner" but with experience in the past, I must be honest and state that the best experience I have received was when I have done public speaking engagements for the companies that I have worked for over these past many years. It has given me great training and the opportunity to learn how to express my voice in different patterns and emotions when conveying different types of issue's to the audience. It has also allowed me to learn how to properly project my voice in order that others will be able to hear my presentation clearly and without sounding abrupt or demeaning. Doing public speaking engagements allows a person to use different forms of inflexion in their voice to convey ideas and bring attention to specific issue's.
