My Voice Experience

My native language is Hindi and Punjabi. English was taught as a main language right from preschool till the end of education. I learned Urdu by hobby.

I have more than 23 years of experience in the entertainment Media Industry in India.

I have done several Radio Dramas, Presentations, Features, jingles, and commercials and Television voice overs for serials, documentaries, commercials, jingles, and short films both as character dubbing voice actor and as narrator. Also I have done announcements and interactive radio shows and theater playback voices.

As a Radio drama artist I have played the female lead in about 80% of my programs.

I have done recordings in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi.

I have worked with All India Radio Delhi since the age of 7 as a drama artist and with other private producers and production houses to lend my voice for radio, television, and theater.

I have also done on-screen commercials, serials, short films, and plays for the Indian Television.

In my last couple of projects, I worked in the capacity of an Assistant Producer and Director (in addition to being a voiceover artist for the series) for Radio Serials for the Indian audience.

My Training

My father being a veteran in the field, I started my training from the age of 4 and got approved as a radio drama artist from All India Radio, Delhi at the age of 7.

At the age of 10, I cleared the auditions for the Urdu section in All India Radio, Delhi.

I have a done a certificate course in Urdu to polish up my Urdu dialect.

I have taken a formal training in NewsReading from IAAN Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi.

By Educational Qualification, I am a Mathematics Graduate with a PG in Business Administration. I have been trained in the Advertising Industry and have been working in Content Management for the last 6 years -- where I have not only created written content, but also recorded and edited audio and graphical content.

I was also offered a job of training aspiring actors on diction and voicing by a well known acting school in Delhi.

Additional Skills

I am proficient in using Sound Forge to record and edit audio and have good knowledge of Flash, Illustrator, and Photoshop to manage graphics.

I have been working as a Content Development professional for the last 8 years. In this field I have written, recorded (in my oen voice and that of others), edited, animated (created animations and synced with Vos), directed, and produced content.

In addition I have auditioned, recruited, and managed other content vendors.
