My Voice Experience
My Voice Experience
Started out in voice-overs in 1988 while an undergraduate student at the University of the Philippines.
Had my first and second voiceover jobs at Adfarm, a recording studio owned and operated by veteran industry player Jerry Magnaye(Jeremiah Jr. working for 99.5RT).
They say you'll always remember your first time.
Well I do. And it was a 7-Up radio ad.
Guess what, I also remember my second..it was a MacDonald's TV promo ad for kiddies.
We had to employ studio effects for this job--I had to sound robotic.
What followed after that was a fuzzy blur--kinda like the day after a college fraternity party.
I worked concurrently in radio broadcasting after university while continuing my freelance voiceover career.
I have done them all -- from radio and tv ads; to audio-visual productions and documentaries; to dubbing animation character voices for cartoon features and video gaming.
