Voice Description

From a young age until present I have sung as part of a gospel choir traveling across London and East Anglia. As the head of the choir I coordinate and conduct the other singers whilst leading the chorus line and playing the keyboard. Although the choir is a recreational section of my experience within music, it is equally important to my growth as a singer. I hold choir practise twice a week which is constantly bringing in new members and helps me to explore the different ranges I have within my voice as I'm working along side both experienced singers and members of the public who just want to have fun.
Within the community I play an active role in local talent shows and events such as fashion shows and church events. For the past year I have been a paid regular at several local public houses and bars. My line up normally consists of well known pop,r'n'b and soul music but I also like to publicise my own material.
When my spare time is not taken up with choir commitments and performances my life is devoted to producing my album. I have sung, written and produced over 30 songs which include collaborations with a local rap artist 'G Money'. The style of my music is a unique mix of new age r'n'b and soul, it has an original sound which I have produced to express the tone of my voice. My music mainly consists of soulful love songs and up beat commercial party songs but I have also created an 'earth song' style which will reach a wider market. My aim is too be as versatile as possibly so as not too isolate any possible supporters and the style of music I have created has proven successful.
I have recently been approached by a British film company with a request to use one of my songs 'I want a girl like you' as the trailer song for a new film and to write and sing an additional 2 songs which will feature within the film. I have recently met with Mervin Lynn from ANR Sony BMG who has put me in contact with Jat from the Kray twins for a possible collaboration which is still in the stage of discussions.
