My Voice Experience

I have worked in small (Blacksburg, VA) to major market radio (Denver, CO) as a DJ, show host, news anchor, in-field reporter, voice over talent and independent podcaster. I've conducted live and pre-recorded interviews with personalities varying from political candidates to professional football players; authors to entertainers.

In the course of my career I have created vocal tracks for Audiobooks, Business, Documentaries, Educational, Internet, Jingles, Music, Podcasting, Radio, Telephone, Television end-use. I've worked as a live announcer and remain interested in working the voice work areas listed above as well as spokesperson, cartoons, films, on-camera, infomercials movie trailers and videogames.

I currently produce a literary science fiction podcast - KnitWitch's Scifi/Fantasy Zone - with over 48,000 downloads to date. I have recently performed short story narrations for subscription audio fiction magazines including Escape Pod, Podcastle and Variant Frequencies in addition to my own show.

I am a vocalist classically trained in musical and spoken performance. I studied performing arts and communications at Berea College (Berea, KY) as a theatre major/ BA candidate.
