Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I am able to perform the following accents/ dialects after each one is a breakdown of their uses:
Southern, British, Cockney,Irish,Peurto Rican/Latino/ Cuban, jewish/ Yiddish, Brooklyn/ New Yorker, South & North Jersey dialect, Philadelphia dialect.
Southern - this accent is useful for commercials or cartoons and bringing to life characters in a book that takes place in the south.
British - This is my favorite....I grew up listening to Julie Andrews & I feel my British accent reflects the way she speaks...I have been compared to her when I use this accent.
Cockney - Picture Eliza Dolittle in My Fair Lady...when she is the flower selling gutter snipe.
Irish - I have used this accent for video Game demos that have characters from Ireland.
Puerto Rican /Cuban/ Latino: this accent, as all the other ones i have listed, can be used in commercial / radio/ cartoons/ animated films.
Jewish/ Yiddish - These are great to use & are fun...especially if you are looking for Barbara Striesand like voice from Funny Girl or the sound of one of the many women in a Neil Simon Play.
Brooklyn/ New Yorker - Used alot in commercials & shows based in N. Jersey or NYC.
South & North New Jersey - I was born & raised in South Jersey & live outside Philadelphia & right below North Jersey...i am surrounded with these dialects & can pick them up very easily.
I do alot of musical theater & some of my favorite roles have included those where I needed to use an accent or dialect.

I have been training my singing voice with vocal instructions for 17 years. My most recent teacher is Melissa Perry.
I am presently taking personal Voice Over classes being taught by Voice Over Talent/Coach - Charles McKibben.
I have taken a course called "Introduction to Professional Voice Acting" at Camden County College.
Another class that I took was "Auditioning for TV, Commercials & Film" with Kathy Donahue Talent Management.
I have won awards in many Singing Competitions & also in Forensics Speech Competitions (Poetry & Prose)
I have over 17 years experience on the theatre stage. with over 45 stage performances under my belt - Mostly musical theatre with 90% being a lead or secondary lead role.
This training helped with differernt character developments. It also helped in learning new accents and dialects.
A huge part of acting on stage is delivery of your lines...You need to understand and know why you are saying a line & what it is you are trying to get across to the audience. Being natural at delivery is important.
My Studio Equipment
I have my own sound-proofed studio at home.
I work on a Dell computer with the program "Audacity" I have the latest version - 1.3 Beta
I am able to use Auto duck to add intrumental music a s a background to my voice...I have a music library solely for VO work that I am able to pull from.
I work with a Snowball Professional USB Microphone along with a wind screen & pop filter. My studio has very good sound proofing materials.
If needed.....I am willing to travel to a studio in my area to put down voice tracks. I live in an area where there are many studios available to me so I can go to a studio if requested.
Additional Skills
I am very easy to get along with/ work with & I have been told I take direction well.
I do like to have fun, but I always treat each job with professionalism.
I have worked in Theatres on stage, in film, singing infront of a live audience in a cabaret atmosphere, & on voice over work in a studio.
