Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My parents are from North Carolina, so I can bring out a Carolinian accent rather easily.

I can do a mid-wester Fargo-esque accent as well.

I can also do Irish and English dialects.

I speak Spanish pretty fluently. I would say I speak a Cuban Spanish, since I was in a Spanish immersion school in Miami and most of my teachers were from Cuba.

I also do several cartoon-ish voices. I work with kids so I am always making different voices for the characters in all the books I read them.

My Voice Experience

In college I was a DJ for my college's radio station. 99.1 WDUB. "She's Gone Country."

Other than that, I am new to Voice Over. But I am very excited and willing to learn.

For Christmas last year I recorded a Christmas album with my friends. I played all the music on the piano and sang a few tracks as well.

My Training

I have a BA in Theatre and Film from Denison University. In college I took voice lessons every semester. And I did a lot of musical theatre and other theatrical performances and public speaking. I was a DJ on the radio station.

I took a semester of Theatre Studies in London, where I also studied voice.

I took The Secrets of Voice Over with David H. Lawrence XVII.
