During my elementary years : Grade 4, we were required to have a singing group for a school program so there were 6 girls, we sang "It's a Wonderful, Wonderful World Where We Live..." I played the guitar for the group...
High School @ Saint Bridget School: I sang and played the guitar for the choir for the school's "First Friday" monthly masses also sang and played guitar for schools songfests and programs.
When I was in college: I was a member of the Glee Club and chosen to join inter-school competitions, also sang back up for a Frigidaire commercial(1980). I was female vocalist and sang with a 4 boy band for 2 Valentine functions (1983, 1986).
After College:I did a voice over narration project to advertise lovely homes in Manila(for a friend's uncle) which was being promoted and sold to some Filipino Guamanians(1994).
In the U.S. of A.: While working in a CD ROM studio, one of our projects needed voices of varied creatures singing and speaking in 7th Level's L'il Howie's Great Math Adventure(Howie Mandel as Howie), I pitched in for that project(1995)
...and currently: still singing karaoke with friends occasionally.
I do not have formal training in doing voice overs but having worked in animation for 15 years has helped. I've been asked to sing in parties using the karaoke/videoke units or with piano accompaniment.
