My normal speaking voice is clear, articulate and cheerful. I have been interviewed many times on radio and since I am a professional singer, I have excellent phrasing, articulation and timing. My voice is midrange (not husky, not squeaky). I have been told I sound "like a young woman/teenager" on the phone.

I'm a professional musician but have been interviewed and done "specials" many times for radio (i.e., summaries of the careers of other notable musicians) including "winging it" and working from scripts; I have done PSA voiceovers, been interviewed for film, including film for stage (backdrop film used in a musical); I have done a lot of studio work as a harmony and lead singer, as well as "rapping" in a rhythmic way over a music track reading prepared words; I have also acted in amateur theater;
