My Voice Experience

Well, my love for broadcasting and audio production goes all the way to 1978, at what is now the University of Memphis, when I was fresh out of high school. I won two national grand prizes from Alpha Epsilon for my work on a public affairs show and best audio comedy, and some regional awards as well. Professionally, I was well thought of for my production and voiceover work, a lot of which I wrote and produced myself, at stations that include KBYO FM, Tallulah, LA; KQUS FM, Hot Springs, AR, and KLAW FM, Lawton, OK just to name a few. And I am currently the co-General Manager of an internet operation, Urradio Entertainment Group, where I work in co-operation with six different stream networks and different formats and I also do a lot production on commercials, promos, and image liners. I'll be happy to provide extra samples of that work on request.

My Training

As I said, I spent a great deal of time at University of Memphis and its campus radio station (now WUMR) and experience in production that developed at the aforementioned stations.

My Studio Equipment

I do have Mixcraft production capabilities, and I can assure the quality of my work, by providing samples upon request. Most of the work I do, is by computer now. I am highly capable and competent in the areas of copywriting, editing and refinement.And I can import my work in WAV and/or MP3 formats.

Additional Skills

I have been told that my writing and production skills are professional and high quality. There have been times that while working outside of the industry, I have been asked to provide voiceovers for on hold messages at two automotive dealerships. So I know I have the voice that can attract clients. And the wits and production expertise to go along with it.
