My Voice Experience

Started in radio at 19 in Raleigh-Durham, NC, took a few years off to irritate my parents and got back into the broadcast biz about 8 years ago. Name the radio time slot, I've filled it - from morning news to late night. Working with Houston area production companies on industrial/trade, phone prompts, etc - references available. Past clients include ExxonMobile, IDS Business Excellence online training, Dow Chemical and more.

My Training

Majored in theatre in college before breaking into radio. Years of sponge-like behaviour soaking up tips and techniques from the pros I was lucky enough to work with in several markets. Have written for all news media formats as well as performed/delivered news online, on television, on air and in person if you'll stand still long enough. Professional touring stand-up comic and improv comic as well. Experienced in hosting live events from the comic to the corporate.

My Studio Equipment

Studio booth equipped with Symetrix vocal processor, editing through Audition and/or Soundforge. Mic's available include Sennheiser broadcast workhorse - a deeper sound and a Rode NT2A with a brighter sound. Both outstanding perfomers. Currently providing solid broadcast quality sound but intend to move up to a Whisper Room this year. Can't help it, I'm a geer nerd. Whisper quality is amazing.

Additional Skills

Professional, broadcast quality voiceovers delivered quickly in almost any format you desire. DAT might be tough but anything else is a piece of cake.
