My Voice Experience
My experience at this time includes a 15 min. weekly radio spot on a local Christian station (WJCR-Upton, KY). I write my own matieral for this spot which is intended to teach listeners basic Biblical principles and how to apply them to everyday life.
I have always enjoyed the opportunity to read out loud. As an author, I appreciate the value of words and I understand how the proper reading of words is essential to expressing their intended meanings.
My Training
I've done a couple of plays during my early education and was a member of several school choirs. These experiences taught me about breathing, tone, pronounciation, and projection.
My current training has consisted mostly of learning as I record my weekly radio broadcast with the help of a local radio personality and voice project producer.
The idea of becoming a voice over talent has only recently caught my interest, but I believe that it is a job for which I have a natural apptitude.
