Voice Description

I have a very versatile voice and have been a singer for more than 10 years. I am a former lead singer of a south african musical UMOJA THE MUSICAL and moved to Europe, Germany to join the LION KING hamburg where I was acting, singing and dancing. I am doing studio work as well. I am able to change my voice into different tones and accents , be it high or low. As a singer who most of the time sing cover song, every song I sing I make sure that I sound like the original singer.To name few, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse ,India Arie. I have fooled a lot of people with my cell phone pretending it was a voice mail. I would say my voice is unique and fresh. Although I can impersonate, it still has its own magic. Something that the world has not yet heard.I can adapt to any situation and can sound sexy, warm , nervous, angry and professional, which is why I started an acting and singing carree. I learn fast and given the script of any language I am able to sound english, german, african, italian,spanish and so on. With LION KING hamburg I had to act and sing in german which was an advantage.

Everything that is put before me I can do. As I sad that I am a fast leaner and have a photographic memory, so if given a script, the sky is the limit. I can sound like anyone one you want me to sound like but only female voices although there are male voices with a high voice, that is also something I can do.

My Voice Experience

I have no voice over experience but as a singer I have used my voice a lot and have over 10 years experince. I have done Jazz festivals in South Africa like THE JOY OF JAZZ which happens every year in S.A , I toured with UMOJA from south africa, Asia, europe and UK. I did recording for the UMOJA musical and they are still being sold and dvd's which are also being sold. I also did backing for different artist in south africa and also did an album with one of south africa's classical singer June Krause where I got the chance to compose a song which was in the album Classically Zulu. I also did a festival here in Hamburg for a company called ALAFIA where we raised money for orphans in south africa.
