Understanding the use of media 
We are developing a short series of elearning modules targeted towards high school students. The program will teach students how media and advertising can be used to manipulate their thoughts.

We are looking for a college-age female voice for this project who has a sassy and humorous tone. We will provide the scripts for narration. The narrator needs to record delivered the post-production clips in an mp3 format.

Script Details

OK, so advertisers spend a lot of money so you will see their messages. These messages don’t always present things the way they are, raising questions of media ethics. But, how do ads REALLY work? What strategies do they use to manipulate your thoughts and feelings? That’s the reality behind media, the REAL media. Making messages all starts with the audience.

A target audience is WHO the advertiser wants to reach. This is often a set of buyers sharing common needs or characteristics. This is the first thing advertisers think about when they make ads. WHO they want to reach.

In a video game, you have a strategy to get to the next level and to beat the game. In sports, you have a strategy for winning or a game plan. Advertisers use strategies to manipulate their target audience. There are 4 main strategies we call FUSE. They are fun with the group, unexpected, style, and endorsement.
