the health care system 
My name is Kim. i am a Goldsmith University student.
i need a male voiceover for my MA design degree show.
it is going to be 1000words so i guess 10minutes long.
it is a flash movie about the health care service. so i need male voice like reliable... not too old, commercial,,, but modern.

My flash movie aim to explain new health care service system, therefore,the most important thing is to make people understand.

the movie might looks like this the scenario 1-12 and 37-41 (diagram, illustration)

N: People are constantly looking for health care services of high quality.

> scenario 2

N: However, the high quality services that we hope for are compromised by the lack of communication between doctors and patients. This is partly due to lack of understanding of jargon used by doctors during consultation.

> scenario 3

N: Another reason being that the consultation is mostly one sided. Most of the time during consultation, doctors seem to do most of the talking, such as posing questions to diagnose patients’ conditions. Patients do not give much input, they just answer the questions posed to them by the doctor in a straightforward manner.

N: Patients play mostly a passive role and there is little interaction between them and their doctors.

N: My project, NHS Self-care, aims to promote communication between patients and doctors by introducing a series of self-monitoring services for patients. The services will leverage the information on the current NHS Direct website to allow patients to better understand and monitor their conditions.

N: As a result, patients will become more knowledgeable about their medical conditions. They will also be able to interact better with their doctors during consultation.

N: NHS Self-care uses four strategies to achieve the objective: self-tracking, personalization, Availability of information, and delegation of power to patient.

N: Self-tracking keeps track of patients’ medical records for them to monitor their medical conditions. The process of keeping track is made possible by letting patients and doctors enter information directly into the patient’s record as well as the use of a USB wristband. This allows patients to understand their body better and let them take care of themselves.

N: Personalisation provides a list of customized routines for an individual patient to follow. The suggested routines are based on the medical history of the patients and their progress as they undergo treatment. It will also generate patient-specific recommendations based on their existing lifestyle.

N: Availability of information, anytime, anywhere. Technology will be deployed to allow patients to access their information easily through mobile phones or the internet. There will be encryption of data to protect confidential information. Patients can also print their medical records out whenever they need it.

N: Delegation of power to patients. By opening information for patients to access, and making them more knowledgeable about their condition, patients can now play a more active role during consultation. This will benefit both patients and doctors during their consultation.

N: Tom is 28 years old and works as a computer game designer. Driving to work takes him an hour. At work, he spends most of his time in front of the computer. He has a bad habit of skipping breakfast and likes to eat fast food.

N: He has gained 15lb recently, and started to visit the bathroom more often.

N: From the NHS Direct website, he learned that these could be symptoms of diabetes. He is worried and makes an appointment with the doctors for consultation.

N: He sees the doctor and is diagnosed with diabetes.

> scenario 17

N: The doctor issues Tom an NHS self-care USB wristband, and advises him to lose weight. He also suggests that Tom monitors his blood insulin and glucose levels routinely and inputs the information to NHS Self-care.

N: When Tom returns home, he logs on to the NHS Self-care website to set up his account. The doctor’s recommendations are listed on this personal page for him to follow. Tom also keys in some point of discussion he would like to remember in his record page. He starts to use the NHS Self-care features to track and monitor his progress.
