Script Details

Howdy, I’m SAM and this is the Supervisor Development Refresher Course. I’m here to walk you through this training. It’s been designed for new and existing supervisors who need to complete their required training and testing every three years.

Hey, I get it, you’re already a good supervisor, probably a great one. But even great supervisors know that the only way to get better is to keep learning and keep practicing. Right? Besides, I promise we’re only going to cover the most relevant, useful, and critical information.

Ok, now that we’ve got the pleasantries out of the way, this is Supervisor 101, your first lesson. This section will give you a little taste of everything it takes to become a good supervisor.

What does it take to be a good supervisor?

First, you gotta know what a bad supervisor looks like. We’ve all seem them before. They can’t communicate, they can’t motivate, and they wouldn’t know a good plan even if it hit them over the head. When something goes wrong, they’re the first person to pass blame, and when something goes right, they take all of the credit. Simply put, don’t be a jerk. Funny thing is, if ALL you do is avoid being a jerk, you’re doing better than the bad supervisors.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
