Project Main Details

Spanish accent ala Kill Bill reads Wes Anderson
This narration is the beginning of a love story and will make it's way in a rather unique wedding video. But WAIT. This isn't just a normal wedding video.

The narration should be read in the style, pacing and matter of fact tone of a Wes Anderson movie like the beginning of The Grand Budapest Hotel. For reference of pacing and style, listen to the beginning of the movie "the Grand Budapest Hotel" or watch this video, at 30 seconds in or watch the first 10 seconds of this video,

Your voice would be a thick spanish accent, similar to that of old man Esteban Vihaio in Kill Bill. Watch this reference... Although he talks too slow, his accent is thick and at times almost too thick. Please don't give me an Eastern European accent. I received a few auditions from people who tried to do a fake accent and it was very obvious. If you are a native Spanish speaker, you will probably do well.

The final script is 3 minutes. Below you will find a portion of the script. Please provide an audition of at least 30 seconds of this script.

This is a private video and will not be distributed in any form (aside from sharing with family and friends of the wedding) and no one is making money off of it (not even me). Everyone is working on this project pro bono. But we absolutely need voice talent so I arranged for a small budget. It's not very high, I know. But it'll be fun and easy and definitely something unique.

Script Details

It is absolutely true that everyone who is married or has been married or otherwise has a lover, believes that the story of how they met and fell in love is wonderful and full of fate and at the SAME time happenstance. And that somehow, they would not be with their lover had but one teeny, tiny event in their life gone just a little bit different. The incidents that follow are told to you exactly as they happened, of course, as best as they can be expected to be remembered by those involved. At the time of the beginning of this story, Orlando was a rather large, sprawling city and it was quite possible that one could live and work in Orlando for an entire life and not know or even be acquainted with everyone. And so it was for Andrea and Trevor. For ten years they lived their lives never meeting each other. Until one day they did… in Mexico. ... Like a moth to a flame, Trevor was drawn like a magnet to her smile and engaging conversations. And like the Millennium Falcon caught in the tractor beam of a star destroyer, Andrea was captured by his personality that was a strange mixture of artist and nerd. Outsiders might claim that tacos and tequila played a role in bringing these two together. After all, it is entirely impossible to go to Mexico and not drink tequila. The truth is, however, it was over cappuccinos and ice cream that the seeds of this romance were watered and took root.
