Project Main Details

soundtracks for Greyhound and Horse racing
The project consists in the creation of a live commentary for a greyhound and horse racing system. The software is able to select randomly 6 or 12 runners (with different name) and run the race with a random outcome (1st, 2nd, etc.).
It is necessary to create all the phrases that will be composed to form the live commentary depending of the racing behaviour.
What is needed: 1) Live commentary common phrases for greyhound and horse racing like:
“leads”, “is taking the lead”, “sprint”, “bare second”, “is improving”, “is running fast”, “slow”... “is starting to fade” “1st”, “2nd”, “3rd”....”age”, “years old”, “one”, “two”... “time” “fantastic”, “excellent”, “surprise”... etc. for a total of about 100 ~ 150 words (the list will be included).
2) The name of each runner pronounced normally without alterations as it will be used in the race and in the presentation of runners.
Each name is composed by 1 or 2 words (IE: “Moonlight”, “Notorius 2nd” etc.
The soundtrack of the names can be continuous (with 100/200 or more names grouped together) and will be split later by a audio post-processing (or used “as is” knowing the starting and ending point of the name). The splitting is not required in the project hence the artist can quickly concentrate on recording. The 3D engine software for the simulation is able to play voice recorded files.
Requisites: 1100 greyhound names. 2200 horse names. ~120 common phrases of racing commentary British accent, live commentator, sports,
The list of the names is provided, the list of phrases is provided (but can be improved by artists). Estimated time: flexible - 2 hours to read the lists plus recording/editing/corrections
