This is a short video for company website use. Approximately 1:40 in length, 8 short paragraphs. Technical content, company will be available for pronunciation of technical terms as needed. We are looking for male voice over talent as audience is primarily male dominated. See script below. We prefer the audio to be delivered in 8 separate MP3 files, one for each paragraph. We are on a short timeframe and would need the completed project delivered no later than Tuesday, Jan 18th.

Script Details

You are looking at a 1000 watt direct diode laser coupled to a two hundred micron fiber with a numerical aperture of zero point one eight. This is the highest brightness, direct diode laser ever demonstrated, and the first one capable of gauge thickness metal cutting, keyhole welding, and remote welding.

This example shows nitrogen-assisted cutting of one sixteenth inch thick “three o four” stainless steel at a power of 900 watts out of the fiber and a beam parameter product of 18 millimeter milliradians. The feed rate is 54 inches per minute.

The edge quality is equal to or better than what is achieved with carbon dioxide and fiber lasers.

This example shows oxygen-assisted cutting of quarter inch thick mild steel at a power of 1000 watts out of the same output fiber.

Note the smooth edge quality which indicates full penetration of the laser beam through the cut.

Even copper can be cut with this laser. Highly reflective materials do not pose a problem because TeraDiode’s direct diode laser is inherently insensitive to back reflection.

This last example shows keyhole welding of one eighth inch thick mild steel at 1000 watts and a feed rate of 75 inches per minute.
