Project Main Details
We are looking for a mellow, documentary voice. NO radio/infomercial type voices. The client is very picky and we want to send all auditions directly to the client.
This is a project that begins to tell the story of an inspiring guy, Orri and his salmon conservation efforts and where they came from. There's a small amount of emotion in this story and I'd need an actor who can get the documentary/emotional balance correct. This client has used my (directors scratch VO) because they haven't liked anything else, please read better than me!! You can hear it in the video above.
Please send all auditions as .mp3's to email@example.com as we'll need to get your voice approved by a client and Voice123 doesn't let me download from the audition pane. 2016-05-25 17:53:02 GMT 2016-05-25 11:55:14 (GMT -07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada) Yes (click here to learn more about ) Closed and fulfilled 0 0 0 direct invitation(s) have been sent by the voice seeker resulting in 0 audition(s) and/or proposal(s) so far. For years, Atlantic Salmon have been engrained in the cultures that surround the waters in which they swim. This connection isn’t lost on someone who’s experienced the loss of a species so personally, he’s now working to change the world’s relationship with the North Atlantic Salmon.
Nowhere in the world compared to Siglufjordur’s gold-rush atmosphere and explosive rise because of it’s herring industry. Times were good, Orri’s family, like many others, depended on this seemingly abundant resource
But in 1969, the herring failed to appear. Over-fishing finally took it’s toll and Orri’s community was devastated. Orri had a front-row seat to an environmental disaster in which he promised to himself, he’d never let happen again.
Seeing what happened to the herring, in 1989, Orri set up the North Atlantic Salmon Fund. Through international agreements Orri’s organization brilliantly finds alternative employment for traditional fishermen in trade for them to stop harvesting salmon. But he’s only one man. Orri needs our help. Support the North Atlantic Salmon Fund today to help Orri implement his pioneering methods to save “the king of fish” from extinction.
