Project Main Details

Reading texts from several EFL books
An EFL publishing company is looking to record reading passages + questions from various textbooks for learning disabled students who need to listen to the text as they read. Speed varies from VERY slow (less than 100 words a minute) to slow (around 100 words a minute), depending on the level of the text. A very clear recording voice, excellent diction, and perfect pronunciation are all musts.

We expect to get fully edited, clean MP3 files which can be uploaded onto our website without any need for further editing. (The full project is around 105-110 minutes of fully edited recordings, broken up into 12 files.)

Script Details

NOTE that this is at the slowest speed:

If you travel on the 331 bus in Wolverhampton, England, you might find an unusual passenger. Mick, a black and white cat, rides this bus three days a week. He always gets on at the same bus stop. His destination is always the same, too: a fish and chips shop near the busy bus route.

NOTE that this is at the highest of three speeds:

Around the world, millions of new products are launched annually. Yet, before they can be marketed, each product must be named. Many companies consider commercial naming an easy, straightforward task that they can perform themselves, but the results of their efforts don’t always speak for themselves. “This is one area I wish companies invested much more money and time in,” says marketing expert Gina Di Luca. “Choosing a name is often tricky but, when done correctly, can greatly increase a product’s chances of success."
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
