NAVSEA ETAVE ZD1176799
This is a film promoting a new training methodology in the US Navy. It's called ETAVE, and it combines classroom learning, highly detailed 3D Virtual machinery, and hands-on training in special labs designed to simulate shipboard equipment. The ETAVE methodology has gotten remarkable results, and this film will introduce it to a wider audience. The Narrator should sound friendly, knowledgable about the Navy and ship mechanics in general and comfortable with military jargon. There should be real enthusiasm for this new way to train, because it's showing results and the sailors themselves love it.

In the Navy, training our engineers is critical… because lives are on the line. Today thanks to the Navy’s investment in modern tools and new ways of teaching, Navy engineering training is the best it’s ever been. The surface community calls this investment... ETAVE.
The ‘Engineering Training Advanced Virtual Environment’ is high velocity training. The strength of ETAVE is that is doesn’t rely on just one method of teaching. Instead it blends traditional classroom learning approaches with specialized gaming software and real-world technical training equipment…highly detailed 3D virtual tools… and instructor-led labs… where students can really get their hands dirty.
