Latina Protagonist SciFi Audiobook ZD1108351
We are looking for a Hispanic/Latina voice actress to narrate a 32,000 word-long cyberpunk novella. It takes place in a fictional megacity in Ecuador in the not-too-distant future. The POV character is a 30-something badass Latina woman who was born and raised in Ecuador; she is a war veteran-turned-hardened-cybercriminal. The actress should feel comfortable voicing different characters: there is a diverse cast of males and females who will need to be voiced as well. We are not looking for an accent, but there are some Spanish words and place names in the text that will need to be pronounced correctly.

Reina ran, leapt, and crashed through the second-floor window of the apartment block ten meters away, landing and rolling in the stairwell. She kicked through the door into the hallway that ran the length of the block. It was crowded with discarded appliances, a bicycle, a woman carrying a basket of laundry. She screamed and dropped the laundry, and Reina kicked open the door to her right and hurled the woman inside. “Stay,” said Reina. Another door opened and a man looked out, two children wrapped around his legs. Reina brandished the submachine gun in his direction and he slammed the door. She could hear him shouting. “I’ll call the cops! Call the Pistoleros! You get out of here!” She sprinted the length of the block, hearing more shouting and doors opening behind her. She hit the door to the far stairwell hard enough to take it off its hinges, then swung herself feet-first through the next window and out into the air. She fell two stories, hit the street below, rolled, and came up running. As she rounded the next corner she saw a secman appear in the window. He raised his gun and fired once, a loud crack, and the concrete beyond her shoulder puffed as a bullet hit. No more stun rounds. She pulled out of sight.
