More than a decade ago, Wallingford Chevron’s auto repair bays were converted to an ExtraMile convenience store. And its exterior sign was sign was also converted, from service promotions to fun messages. The result was a new way to connect with the community and make drivers smile, something not often associated with a gas station. You don’t have to live in Seattle to enjoy it. The Wallingford Sign has its own Facebook and Twitter accounts.
