Male voice is for 30ish African American hipster who is about to be a father. He should be soft spoken, laid back and caring father to be. Female voice needed for wife (also hipster) and grandma (mother in law, not a fuddy duddy she's cool too) and V/O Narrator could be male or female, generally narrator is a friendly, positive read with personality (not newsy or clinical).
The couple are standing in the nursery, on the changing table there’s an ultrasound photo.
Katie: “I remember that last ultrasound.”
Graham: “Not the news we were expecting.”
Camera zooms into ultrasound photo, and back out to see it is now a live picture on a monitor in an exam room.
Dr: “Well we still have a couple weeks, but if the baby hasn’t turned by then, I need you both to be prepared for the possibility of a C-section.”
Katie: “I was really hoping for a natural delivery.”
Graham: “Yeah, we agreed to make this as relaxed and natural as possible.”
Dr: “Certainly, and I’m not ruling that out, but for your baby’s safety, it might be necessary.”
Narrator: “At the doctor’s office, you may be told a C-section is a possibility. If the baby is in distress, is in the wrong position, or other complications. Knowing what to expect will help make you feel more in control.”
Grandma: “How are you feeling?”
Katie: “I’m doing good, healing, seeing doc tomorrow..”
Grandma: “What’s that noise?”
Katie: “Well, we discovered that soothing noise puts her to sleep, so Graham is vacuuming”
Grandma: “Ya know it’s not nice to tease an old lady, a shock at my age could be dangerous!
Katie: “Yes. Your son is cleaning. It took becoming a dad to use the vacuum!”
Graham: “I heard that!”
