Script Details

1. Jed (hero) came to a diner in Texas that's a cover for a drug cartel's transit place. He questions the bartender. The bartender is a big boy from Mexico, so he speaks english with an accent:

BARTENDER We're closed, preacher.
JED I wonder if you could help me?
BARTENDER What did I just say?
JED I'm looking for a guy.
BARTENDER Yeah, this ain't that kind of place.
JED A guy with a burnt face.
BARTENDER I think you better leave, padre.
JED Easy boys. I'm not looking for trouble. I'm just looking…for a man...named Tajo.
JED Guess I found him.

After this dialog Jed kills all thugs in the diner except the bartender who hid behind the counter. Jed gets behind the counter, grabs the bartender and throws him on the counter:

JED You wanna live? Tell me where he is.
BARTENDER I don't know no Tajo!
JED Let me rephrase the question.
JED Where?
BARTENDER Oh, that Tajo! Yeah, I think he's out back in one of the trailers.
BARTENDER You promised you wouldn't kill me if I told you!

[After each question Where? Is? He? Jed hits the counter with bartenders head. That's why he's so ready to talk.]

2. Jed came to a junkyard in Texas that's a cover for a drug cartel's transit place. He questions the junkyard manager.

Manager is a skinny redneck guy with a cowboy hat.

Jed gets to a trailer where the manager lives [Versions 2a and 4a are an alternative versions of dialogs for this scene.]:

JED Get out here, asshole! I'm sending you to hell!
MANAGER I'm watching "Happy Days" motherfucker. Don't be interrupting me!
MANAGER I'm watching the play offs motherfucker! Don't be interrupting me!
JED You're not Tajo.
MANAGER And you're not The Fonz. So get your ass outa here!
MANAGER And you ain't gonna be alive much longer if you don't get your ass outa here.
JED Where's the Matchstick Man?
MANAGER You don't listen too good, do you, padre?
JED Let me put it another way.

Jed shoots the manager's gun and it falls to the ground. Jed hits the manager and drags him towards a car shredder.

MANAGER You're a preacher, for God's sake!
JED That's right, son! I am the Lord's right hand. His instrument of vengeance!

He throws the manager into a car that's in the shredder. Jed turns on the shredder:

MANAGER You are out of your goddamn mind!
JED Tell me where he is!
MANAGER At another Bonnie Parker!
JED Where?
MANAGER Eighty miles east of here.

Jed stops the shredder in the last moment.

MANAGER Hey! HEY! Let me outa here!

If Player walks away:

MANAGER Don't leave me like this! There's motherfucking scorpions in here!!

If Player frees the manager:

MANAGER Thank you, preacher! You're a good man!

If Player restarts the shredder:

MANAGER No, pleeeeasssse!!!
