This video project entails a promotional video for the leading engineering simulation software company ANSYS, and how engineers can use digital twins for complex systems. (Pronounced Ansis) Engineers as its audience. Please read narration in a casual/confident tone and NOT "announcey." Really looking for a voice of authority and credibility.

Script Details

Here’s a simple example… A FlowServe Pump. With the connectivity that comes with the Internet of Things, engineers are now able to receive accurate and ongoing performance data from their systems in the field.

For instance, this Flowserve pump has multiple sensors providing real time information. In this example, sensors are fed into the IOT platform where engineers monitor the normal operations of the pump.

Here, an anomaly is introduced as a valve is closed prompting an alert and the need to troubleshoot the problem. The ANSYS simulation platform allows you to evaluate all possible inputs and operating conditions to reproduce the problem.

By reproducing the problem virtually with the digital twin you can then verify the cause and test the proposed corrective action. Here the cavitation issues have been corrected in the digital twin and can now be applied to its real world counterpart.

You can see that no more bubbles are present and the pump is back to its normal operating mode. Digital twins require a complex and comprehensive knowledge of systems engineering. Only ANSYS has the breathe and depth of simulation experience to bring the full power of digital twins to your customers.
