In Routing, slopes are used to define the orientation of the pipe route relative to gravity. Let me show you how slopes work. Here I have a pipe route. To define a slope, I’ll go to Piping and click the “Edit Route” icon on the Routing toolbar. I’ll right-click the part of the sketch entity where I want to add the slope and click “Add *****”. The ************************** appears, and I’ll select the top plane as the Gravity Plane. Keep in mind that the pipe segment must be on the plane you select as the gravity plane. Next, I’ll select a Start Point, which is a fixed point the pipe segment rotates about to create the slope. To finish up, I’ll enter the rotation angle of the slope expressed as a ratio… and click the green check.
