Script Details

In 2014, Pantene launched its first ever moisturizing regimen in a market predominated by a long-established hair and skin moisturizing brand.

In this segment of the market most brands adopted an emotional approach that tells women “you’re BEAUTIFUL the way you are” but Pantene brought something different.
By introducing the proof of performance through the tried and tested strategy, Pantene encouraged women to embrace hair transformation and boosted their confidence.

We started off by contacting Joelle, a famous beauty and transformation expert in the Arab region to lead our hair experiment…
…and hosted Rana, an active Arab lady who was convinced her hair was moisturized and healthy.
We then initiated an honest conversation with three interactive videos.
Arab women from all over the region pitched in, giving their genuine non-judgmental opinion about Rana’s hair.
The conversation grew stronger by the day and a community of honest woman to woman advisors was formed.

Engagement rates hit a record high for Pantene Arabia! Women across the Arab world joined the conversation.
Comments poured in on social media and the 3 videos on YouTube reached more than 6 million views while Rana enjoyed a remarkable hair transformation.
By focusing on video content creation, Pantene succeeded yet again in pushing Arab woman to embrace change, boosting her confidence through Pantene hair moisturization.
