I. Games--an important trend in Internet age
P1、 3000 years ago, a great famine arose in Lydia kingdom of Asia Minor, people in Lydia invented a strange remedy method to solve starvation. This method is to play games. People could not feel the desire for food, in this way, Lydia got over the most different 18 years, and was prosperous several centuries. We always consider that concentrating on games is “escaping from reality”; however, we could see form history, games escape from reality with plans, this escape is a kind of active escape after careful consideration, it is not negative escape from reality. It is important that we shall gradually realize games are promoting development of real world and do not rely on it.
P2、 Nowadays, the huge and original “ sense of starvation” is torturing many people. This kind of sense of starvation is not from the desire of food, but is the final desire of immersing oneself into surrounding world and the hunger and thirsty for a more satisfactory job, strong sense of ethic group and a more meaningful life. All things on earth mutually reinforce and neutralize each other, the players who are eager to get rid of sense of starvation are same as ancient people in Lydia, they find that making use of addiction strength of games could get rid of sense of starvation, therefore, more and more people play games, as materials show, there are 0.183 billion active players in America, global players spend over 3 billion hours on games, there are so many players in different ages in the world immerse themselves into world of games, this reality certainly predicts the importance of a certain thing, a fact we are eager to know. We could see from this reality that spiritual demand of people is in status of extreme starvation, and games meet our demands and make up the emptiness of our spirit.
Jane.McGonigal says: “gamification could rebuild positive future of human beings.” In 21st century, games will be a main platform to build future.
II. Games--make world become better
P3、 game is not only game, it could make life become better and become entire prospect of our future life!
Why does gamification could make world become better? This stems form four conclusive features of all games: aim, rule, feedback system and voluntary participation. Aim refers to the results players strive to get. Rule refers to limits for players to realize their aims. Feedback system tells players how far it is from realizing the aim. Voluntary participation requires all players know and like to accept aim, rule and feedback. It is these features which do not exist in real world that make everyone be full of passion and fighting spirit and full of hope of future. An outstanding game psychologist Brain Sutton-Smith said: “the opposite side of playing is not work, it is depression.” that is to say that games do not make us tired of work, and could make us get rid of negative status of depression and low spirits, thus, games could improve our sense of happiness. Secondly, game is a most typical activity without aim, we play it, because we want to play, this is pure without motive, reputation and interests, and doesn’t have the depression of aim of living. Contrarily, games will enrich our life with “intrinsic reward” mechanism.

In participatory economy, the thing we compete is not “eyeball” or “ share of brain”, it is brain circulation and share of mood. While games could stimulate our potential and realize the sustainable development of participatory economy.
Possibly, many people think that ordinary people could only sit around in the spare time, however, games could completely overture current perception of people. Each young people who spends over 10000 hours on games could get outstanding success under game environment in future. Participating in games makes us super heroes in real life.

Moreover, Discovery is a software for announcing social contact task and could stimulate the creative ability to the largest extend. In games, every player could make rules for games according to their likes and dislikes, create playing methods and find unique treasures. Previously, game companies will design plot and distribute tasks for traditional games to make game players pass predictable barrier in traditional games. While Discovery overturns this kind of playing method, players are not followers but creators, the task of Discovery is designed by players and plot is created by players, each barrier is mysterious and never seen. Discovery is a game created by you! It is a virtual game which could help us experience the lost beauty and toughing in real world.
The main tasks for players in this game is to discover and share.
Discovery: that is finding treasures, players find treasure locations in real world independently or together with partners according to the acquired treasure map ( the world is your amusement park), and finish some tasks or experiences, could contact, communicate and share with designers and finally get treasures according to requirements of treasure map designer!
Sharing: that is burying treasures, players find anywhere in real world, use burying treasures function of games to bury treasures, design treasure hunt task, share life and experience with treasure hunters.

We could continuously perfect our spirit world and real world through games, you may be limited by boring reality and you living space has not been updated for a long time, however, you could have a surprise to find that life is much broader than we imagine in some places you are easy to forget and neglect through Discovery! Games do not make us in our own world, instead they make us discover and change the world together!
V. Games-rebuild civilization of mankind
P11、 Game is much more wonderful than we imagine, it will not bring us move towards death of civilization. Contrarily, it will bring us to rebuild civilization of mankind. Just like people in Lydia survived in disastrous climate change and rebuilt their civilization relying on good game skills and abilities. The big challenge we faces today and in future is closely integrating effect of games into daily life to create real happiness and rebuild power of reality, this is the final target of Discovery (golden touch group).
Gamification makes reality become better, we could not stubbornly consider as before that games are independent from real life and work. We should realize that games play a “decisive” role of promoting development of world, because games are changing the world form three aspects, first is to make people’s life become more equal, enriched and happier; second is to make interpersonal communication become more real, deeper and more various; third is to make entertainment industry have a bigger development space, more economic interests and more imaginative challenges.
Balzac said: a person with thoughts is really a person with infinite power. Internet changes our lifestyle, while games change human’s way of thinking. Games “make reality become better”, this is not a meaningless term any more, we could play any kind of game we like, and we could create any future according with our imagination.
