Project Main Details
I am looking to replace the temp/placeholder VO with someone who speaks English with a Portuguese accent. The idea (in the spot) is that you are someone who lives in Lisbon, rents out your apartment on AirBnB and, as a thoughtful gesture, leaves a note for each of your guests with some tips for what to eat, see and do. So the voice we here in this spot is the owner of the AirBnB reading this letter and, while it needs to be in dicernable English, I want it to sound like it's from an actual Portuguese person with an accent.
Please DO NOT sound like a stuffy movie trailer/sales commercial or radio DJ voice. Only looking for a voice that sounds like REAL person. Ok to use a professional recording equipment but please do not process it or filter it to the point that it sounds overly polished.
For references, think GOOGLE or APPLE commercial. Those are great examples of a polished voiceover that still sounds like a real person.
For your performance and inflection, please WATCH THIS LINK TO THE VIDEO and try to match my temp VO as closely as you can.
And I may mis-pronounce a few of the names/words in my temp VO so please correct and say properly any words I messed up.
I plan to finish up the spot in 1-2 weeks at which point I will send you an HD copy of it, and link, for you to use as you like for your own portfolio.

Talia, Andrew, welcome to my home.
I hope you love it as much as I do.
Lisbon is a magical place.
The hills...the view...the narrow streets and delicious food.
The city is so full of life.
For me, the best way to see the it is by trolly….by foot...or by scooter, if you’re more adventurous.
For shopping, A Vida Portuguese always has the coolest stuff.
Try Village Underground for coffee...Cafe na Fabrica for brunch…pizza at Mesa…get the seafood curry at Restaurante Pinoquio…and for something sweet...Pasteis de Belem.
The best sunset is from CASTELO DE SÃO JORGE (Castelo de So Joo-jee)…and for a romantic night out, wander the alleys of Alfama…eat “grouper no pao"…and listen to some soul shaking fado.
There’s clean towels in the bathroom and hey, try to get some sleep :)
