Welcome to this quick demonstration of Zui’s revolutionary user interface design. It’s worth noting that to run these new UIs for your SAP installation, absolutely no new infrastructure is needed.
Everything you’re about to see integrates with SAP products including ERP and CRM and is built with SAP development tools.
Our framework is re-usable and it lets us develop rapidly from a library of components, which also means we have way fewer bugs going into testing.
When SAP's sales strategy turned towards SMEs, they used Zui to create a new interface for their sales staff and it was important that it required no training at all for most staff members.
With so much complexity and a need to be 'pick up and play', our architects and design team drew inspiration from video games - an industry that knows all about making complicated things fun and understandable
So this is what it looks like opening up the navigator as an account exec would. Let's choose an account to start the process
The first screen you can see is the Task View, it shows all the tasks relevant to this particular sale in a single screen. You can see how each one is progressing without needing to click down any further.
Clicking a task gives you more detail and lets you change its status
Swapping to the Process View, you can see that in this screen each sales process is set out sequentially, with the next task to complete highlighted, scrolling smoothly along the process.
Switching back to the Task View is simple.
The next Zui application we'll look at is APM, the Account Planning Management tool, designed for use on large accounts with long, involved sales processes. It reads & writes data live to multiple SAP back-end systems, in this case ERP & CRM.
We noticed that sales people were taking hours every week painstakingly copying and pasting data into Powerpoint. We thought - why are they wasting their time? We can do it for them.
So let's have a look at the interface. As you can see, windows can be re-sized in real time, and of course all the usual sorting by column is available with a click.
When we create interfaces like these, it's always about making things simple and intuitive. For example: rather than typing lots of meaningless numbers, we all know how to use a slider. Controls are auto-restricted to the correct scale and limits for each task.
No more messing about with Powerpoint, APM draws graphs instantly from your live SAP data, helping identify opportunities more easily and make more sense of complex data sets.
If you edit the data it's automatically written straight back into CRM.
We can help you visualise any data sets you like in the same way.
If you manage large accounts you'll like this one - record, map and analyse complex decision-making paths and business relationships. You can specify influence levels for each contact and position them in the right place in their company's structure.
It makes strategic management of large scale accounts far more accessible.
The same for the strategy map - just drag and drop key goals, tactics and targets onto the map to help you marshall your tactics across even the most convoluted account.
By this point I'm sure you’ll have gathered that all the data you view or edit is live in CRM.
And in this screen you can see value chain being edited with a straightforward click and slide
Zui interfaces save millions of dollars through increased productivity, reduced change management and no training - instant ROI.
ZUI aims to enhance the customer’s experience of SAP. We hope you’ve been impressed.
