This voice over would be a male 30s-40s. Very "matter of fact" delivery. But have fun with it. A good reference is the *********** voice over

For the first time in 5 years, Yahoo! was preparing to migrate 260 Million email users to a new email platform.

Meanwhile, Google and Facebook were becoming more and more attractive.

Yahoo! was risking a loss of 20% of their user base to other social media outlets.

So how could we get users to stick with the Yahoo! email overhaul and not bail on us?

Give Yahoo! email an immediate and powerful purpose.

At the same time Yahoo! was saying goodbye to its old email, The Office was saying goodbye to Michael Scott.

We figured his real-life diehard fans would like to say goodbye too.
So we gave them access to Michael Scott’s email.

Of course, it was the new Yahoo! email platform, and to write to Michael, his fans would have to use the new Yahoo!, too.

Over 100,000,000 Yahoo! users switched over to the new email

66% recommended Yahoo! to others

More than 416,000 unique visitors

3.8 million page views

Thousands of Facebook likes

In the end, Yahoo! got a big attitudinal boost and, more importantly,

Michael Scott got a big ego boost.
