2. At ********, be believe the best way to improve your investment skills and knowledge is by looking over the shoulders of some of the best and brightest – to see what they are doing in their own portfolios, with their own money, in real time.
3. Great, let’s get started. On ********’s homepage you will find the latest videos and blogs from the ********’s investment directors. Here, they share with you their knowledge and experience about their strategies of managing their own personal portfolios.
4. By clicking on the “Investment Directors” tab you can browse ********’s investor directors, and get a feel for their differentiating characteristics, such as what kinds of securities they tend to invest in (stocks, options, bonds, for instance); their general approach to investing (value and growth, for example); what their investments returns look like and how much risk they generally take.
5. By sorting and filtering you can identify the investment director that best suits your interests.
6. Once you find the investment director of your choice, you can connect to him by simply clicking on the connect button below.
7. Next, we will ask you to log-in in order to remember your choice and link you directly to your Investment director.
8. In “My dashboard,” you will find a high level summary of each of the investors to whom you are currently connected.
a. On the top of the page you will find the latest transactions of your Investment Director, including the stock symbol and amount of shares that were traded. If you click on the stock ticker you will find the stock’s current market price as well as other information.
b. Under the transactions, you will find the performance grid, where you see a historical view of his investment performance, as well as his trades.
9. By selecting “view profile”, you will be able to see all of the Investment Director’s current portfolio holdings, as well as industry concentration and asset allocation.
10. To get a detailed view of all of the holdings in the portfolio, click on “view portfolio holdings”. Here you can get the number of shares held by the Investor Director, its current market value, and more.
11. By clicking on “view blog”, you will see all of the investment director’s insights and analysis on each holding, as well as their more general thoughts and sentiments on the markets and investing. You can browse the posts by using Tags or chronological view.
12. If you wish, you may actively participate in the conversation, by adding your own comments in the posts’ discussions.
13. You can return to “my dashboard” at any point to explore other investment directors … their portfolios, trades, opinions and strategies.
14. If you wish to receive real-time alerts whenever one of your investment directors makes an investment decision, go to “change notification settings” and select how you would like to be notified – email, text message, or RSS feed.
