WWII Museum Program 
This VO is for a WWII museum program.
The VO recording is of a speech that Colonel Eugene Caffey gave while accepting a war medal in France after the war on behalf of the 1st Engineer Special Brigade.

Please visit the below links to find out more about Caffey. As he is from Georgia, we would like a moderate southern accent. Please feel free to submit one take with southern accent and one without. There may be couple of pick ups.

As he is from Georgia, we would like a moderate southern accent. Please feel free to submit one take with southern accent and one without.  
...over eight hundred thousand American soldiers crossed this strip of sand to engage in battle with the enemy.

It was my task of the 1st Brigade to land promptly on this beach and to assist in every way possible the debarking of the American forces.

No matter what happened the orders to the 1st Brigade were to hold fast as long as the breath of life remained. I am very certain that the Brigade would have obeyed. To you I say, “Well done.”
