Project Main Details

Voiceover for safety training program
This project is a longform training program covering safety in a high-risk industry. The interactive application will be restricted to certain machines in designated training areas. VO content will be ~20 minutes, but the script is still being finalized.

This is also the first in a planned series of 12, with each to be completed about once a month. For continuity purposes, we would like to keep the same voice throughout, so the hired candidate would need to be available/accessible for new VO once or twice a month until all lessons are finished. It's a great opportunity for a year of consistent work.

For audition purposes: we're shooting for a warm & informational tone. Audition length is not fixed. We'll talk specific pricing with the final candidates.

We already spoke to how language can affect communication. There are other cultural differences that can have a severe impact on communication. Cultures provide people with ways of thinking - ways of seeing, hearing, and interpreting the world. Each culture has its own rules about proper behavior which affect verbal and nonverbal communication.

- Whether one looks the other person in the eye or not.
- Whether a person says what they mean or talks around the issue.
- How close people stand to each other when they are talking.

All of these and many more are rules of politeness which differ from culture to culture. Proper awareness of these cultural differences is the first step in improving cross-cultural communication. Click on the box for an example showing how improper knowledge of cultural etiquette can have a negative effect on communication.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
