Script: Birds can twist, turn, dive, and even tumble, while in the air. They can also soar for long distances. Some birds, like vultures, are so good at soaring they rarely have to flap their wings! The largest vulture in the world, the Andean condor, has a wingspan of over 11 feet and can soar above the South American jungle with very little effort. Other birds can fly great distances traveling hundreds, even thousands, of miles without stopping.
