Project Main Details
In the program, the end user may select questions or statements to say to the character by double-clicking on them. Your voice will read these questions or statements, and a character, played by an actor, responds to them. For this job, we will have approximately 700 of these statements, varying in length as you'll see in the audition script.
As such, we're looking for an "everywoman," since the end users will be diverse in tone of voice. The lines below should be generally delivered as warm, personable, and matter-of-fact, since the recruiter's goal is to befriend the character and sell her organization. Even the poor statements in the script should be read with a friendly or persuasive tone, rather than condescending or belittling.
Since many of the statements can be chosen at any time, there is no emotional continuity from one line to the next. Please treat each one as its own "scene." How are you doing? My name is Jamie Williams. What brings you into the office today?
Great! What we need to do, then, is find out what your needs are, make sure you qualify to join, and find out specifically what kind of information you might be looking for.
So you're a little bit of a momma's boy, huh?
Have you ever had any problems with the police?
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Would you be interested to know that we can not only help you pay for college, but can also give you college credit for the schools you attend when training for your job?
I can understand that you may not be excited about being here if your parents made you come in. As long as you're in my office, though, I'd like to ask you some questions about your goals. How does that sound?
If you don't trust what I'm telling you, we're not going to accomplish very much today.
So you're saying that you're allergic to peanuts?
Do you like your job?
Don't you think it's time to grow up and be a man?
