About us: We are a small indie game development studio and we are creating our first game.

About the game:
The game will take place in a fictional world based on an early (9th century) medieval Europe. The story is based on a life of few local communities, political conflicts and personal plots. Think about the "Game of Thrones" as reference for dialogue style and setting.

If there is one word to explain what we want to achieve in our voice overs it would be "mature". Game is created for mature (18+) audience and that's the one reason, but we generally want to achieve a mature feeling/setting for the dialogues and voice-acted scenes.

Most of the dialogues will happen in standard conversations, when the player character is standing in front of the other character, and they are talking to each other.

Some of the dialogues will happen in specific, scripted scenes, when the character is doing something and in some scenes there are more characters involved in the scene/dialogue.

We will provide a detailed script for every dialogue line. There will be a description for every line that would explain the emotion and situation. The voice artist will exactly know how the line should sound and when it is spoken.

Anyway MOST OF THEM will be spoken during a standard dialogue, with natural pace and without any specific emotion.

[yelling at guards]; emotion: angry; pace: fast - "You there! Get your stuff and run to the forest! Faster! We need to stop them before they reach the first bridge on the river!

[standard dialogue;] emotion: sad, pace: normal - "We were traveling for more than two weeks. It was the longest journey in my life. My brother, Kimill, was one of us. He died one day before we've arrived. He wasn't strong enough..."

[standard dialogue;] emotion: excited - "You have to go to the Boleslav's keep as soon as possible and try to convince him. You will probably have a problem with the guards near the lower gate but try to bribe them, it shouldn't be too hard. Try to catch Boleslav in the evening. He should be somewhere near the main courtyard. This will be the best time to talk to him.

[standard dialogue; after a fight and loosing a friend] emotion: seriousness, pace: slow - "Don't blame yourself. We did our best. He was a great warrior and a man of honor. He died in a fair fight. The only thing we can do now is to tell the others about how great were the last moments of his life.
