Varicose Vein Treatment video ZDLTK494014759381X
This video will be shown to prospective patients considering varicose vein procedures. It is an educational video but it also serves as a sales tool. It's essential that the voiceover not get boring despite being 9 minutes long. The voiceover must not get into a repetitive pattern of delivery which becomes monotonous. We need a professional delivery with a conversational feel with pauses, changes in inflection, pace, etc. I imagine this requires the VO talent to consider the flow of the entire VO as a whole when recording, and not just focus on individual paragraphs recorded separately.
I've provided a section of the script for you to demo for us. This demo will be used to play for the client for approval of the voice talent we choose.
Thank you for your time. I always listen to every demo and I will close the project early if we find a voice before the proposal deadline.

Welcome to the Vascular Interventional Center of MD Imaging. Also known as VIC (pronounced Vick).
We have a team of four vein specialists here at VIC which you may encounter. They are Drs, Thomas Bey, Dan Bickmore, Steve Hofkin and Don Chin. We also have an agreement with a few other vein specialists from Sacramento who will substitute for one of our four main doctors on occasion as needed for scheduling purposes. All are highly skilled and experienced at the procedure you will be undergoing.
Varicose ( pronounced: 'vair-eh-kose) veins are very common, sometimes these veins can be deeper in the thigh and not visible, yet still be the source of symptoms.
Some of the common predispositions for varicose veins are:
Age, which causes vein walls to weaken.
An occupation which involves mostly standing or sitting.
And a history of previous blood clots also known as deep vein thrombus.
While arteries carry blood away from the heart, veins carry blood towards the heart. There are two veins we are concerned with: the Greater Saphenous (pronounced: 'saff-in-us) Vein, which runs from the ankle up along the inside of the thigh and the shorter Saphenous vein behind the calf. When the valves within these superficial veins fail, they tend to create varicose veins.
So what happens to the valves in these veins? The valves in a vein are designed to limit blood flow to one direction. When these valves are damaged they no longer touch, leading to blood leaks which run backwards through the valves toward the foot.
As a result, there is a buildup of the pressure in the lower leg.
Please note that you should only use the script or your recording of it for auditioning purposes. The script is property, unless otherwise specified, of the voice seeker and it is protected by international copyright laws.
