VO for Turn of the Century Public TV Documentary ZD566784
We are seeking a talented voice actor to portray a young, driven businessman and entrepreneur at the turn of the century. The voice will be that of a young James B. Duke. While he is a southerner, we are looking for a non-effected voiceover. We do NOT want it to be character-y. The voiceover will be used briefly in a 30-minute documentary on James B. Duke, airing on public television and initially presented by UNC-TV. The documentary chronicles the life and legacy of James B. Duke, a prominent southern entrepreneur and philanthropist whose work left a lasting impression on the southern states, but most notably North and South Carolina. Of the 30-minute documentary, only approximately 1-minute will be scripted character VO.
Since this documentary is for public television, the payment stipend outlined below is offered under a professional services contract, or work for hire. It is a one-time fee paid for unlimited use, in any uses associated with the documentary, including but not limited to the initial documentary, re-cuts or versions of the documentary, promos, etc.

"My old daddy always said that if he amounted to anything in life it was due to the Methodist circuit riders who frequently visited his home and whose preaching and counsel brought out the best that was in him, if I amount to anything in this world, I owe it to my daddy and the Methodist church."
