Tuition Monster re cast
Project that needs to be recast with new direction. Voice needs to feel everyday, real voice in the vein of David Duchovny or Jeff Daniels.

Below is a sample script so you get a feel for the entire spot. DO NOT READ THIS SCRIPT. Creative liberties are welcome. Please read the script under script details for the custom demo.

Sample Script:
:30 TV (Revised 10/11/12)

We open on a wide shot of a two young men staring through the viewing window at a hospital nursery. Dad 1 (our hero) is looking at his newborn with great affection. We cut to over his shoulder as a subtle reflection in the window reveals another “person” looking on behind him and says...

Tuition Monster:
Hey man, congratulations! She is precious.

Dad 1:

Tuition Monster (still unseen):
She’s college material for sure.

Dad 1 (curiously smiling):
You think?

Dad 1 looks over to see that the guy he is speaking to is NOT the other dad or even a human, it’s the Tuition Monster. Dad 1 is obviously startled a bit, but continues on as if this just must happen when you have a kid, right? He continues to take in the bad news...

Tuition Monster:
Just look at that nose. Four years. Maybe five? Housing...fees...meal plans... Yep. That nose says like a brahzillion bucks in eighteen years.

Dad 1 (turning from the window back to Tuition Monster):
You get all that from a nose?

Tuition Monster:
Oh yeah. She is gonna be expensive.

Tuition Monster starts to walk off. Dad looks crestfallen. We cut to a blurred out generic hospital background for graphics and voiceover.

Voice Over:
Tame the Tuition Monster. Visit—and see why it’s the nation’s largest 529 college savings plan.

Cut back to the nursery as Tuition Monster slides up beside Dad 2 and says...

Tuition Monster:
Oh my. That chin has grad school written all over it.

Slaps him on the shoulder and walks off with confidence. Dad 2 slowly turns his head to meet eyes with Dad 1, wide-eyed and freaked out. END
