Project Main Details
Narration of a training video on the use of scientific equipment for petroleum and geology labs. The video includes aspects such as installation and setup, calibration, running the tests, control software description, etc. Some of the terminology to be used is highly technical and specific for the type of testing covered. Examples of typical technical words are:
- Porosity / Porosimeter
- Permeability / Permeameter
- Confining/pore pressure
- Pressure units such as psi, atmospheres, etc.
- Hydrostatic
- Names of gases such as helium, nitrogen
- Materials names such as Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Titanium, etc.
The videos may range in length from 10 minutes to 45 minutes. The purpose is to send a copy (most probably DVD) with every unit we sell. Our equipment is sold in many countries around the world. Script Details
The AP-608 Automated Permeameter-Porosimeter features a unique hydrostatic coreholder with a sliding end stem that allows easy sample loading.
To load a sample, make sure the stem is at the top position by pulling the slide nut and locking it into the lowest slot.
With the lower end piece removed, carefully slide the dry sample into the coreholder followed by the end piece and screw the end cap all the way until it stops.
